SLEEP UNIT

This is the service which specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of sleep disorders.

It is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of specialists including neurologists, neurophysiologists, psychologists, technicians, assistants, etc.

Apart from their clinical role, these specialists also carry out basic and applied research activities.

At the Sleep Research Institute, we are proud to offer comfortable facilities to our patients and families, making their stay with us more pleasant.

  • Clinic:

  • The main office is the center of activity in the sleep unit. It is here that we carry out clinical evaluations and treatment. Given the recurrent or even chronic nature of many sleep disorders, basic consultation with the doctor becomes a fundamental piece of clinical management of the patient’s illness. The Sleep Research Institute has three separate rooms where specialists can attend to their patients.

  • Sleep Laboratory:

  • The Sleep Research Institute also boasts two pleasant, comfortable rooms in which we attempt to make patients feel at ease and replicate, as much as possible, their normal sleeping environment. These interior rooms are well-lit and well-ventilated, isolated from noise. Each room also has its own bathroom. The Institute also has an isolated control room from which we monitor and protect the patient’s comfort and privacy. This is also the place where an experienced technician manages the equipment (computers and video) used to monitor the patient throughout the night.
